“Fear melts when you take action towards a goal you really want.”
- Robert G. Allen
Quote of the Day.
If I had to guess, I would say that doubt is one of the most common reasons that we fail to set goals. Similarly, fear is one of the most common reasons that we fail to accomplish our goals. Fear of what others will think, fear of the unknown, and fear that we are not up to the task are among them.
The quote from Robert G. Allen is encouragement that we all need at some point or another. We all experience doubt or fear while we progress towards our goal. As he says, though, “fear melts when you take action towards a goal that you really want.”
Fear may be what is keeping us from taking action – but taking action is what will ultimately overcome our fear. Taking action will renew the fire that inspired us when we first set our goal. Taking action will occupy our mind with tasks, pushing fear aside. Taking action will prove our fears are unfounded.
The year is still young, so your goals are still fresh. Have you worked toward them yet, or have fear and doubt already started to creep in? Take action and fear will melt!
